Position Details

• Position: Mechanical Design Engineer
• Qualification: BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: 2 – 3 Years
• Location: Pune – Sinhgad Road, Dhayari

Who Should Apply

• Engineers comfortable working on real projects with minimum supervision

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T basics
• Practical experience in 3D modelling and 2D drafting
• Working knowledge of CAD software such as: SolidWorks / Solid Edge / Inventor / AutoCAD
• Experience in Material Handling Systems and/or SPM design preferred
• Basic experience in design calculations and component selection

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and development of SPMs, Material Handling Systems, Robotic Cells, and Assembly Line Automation
• Preparation of 3D models, layouts, and detailed manufacturing drawings
• Design calculations for strength, power transmission, and system performance
• Selection of bought-out items (BO): bearings, geared motors, chains, couplings, linear guides, standard machine elements, etc.
• Preparation of assembly drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Coordination with customers, vendors, and internal teams for technical discussions
• Participation in site visits for installation support and issue resolution
